Returns Policy

Return/Cancellation:

The Merchant can return the equipment to DCATM for inspection at its expense. After inspection DCATM will release The Merchant from the balance of the Rent to Own agreement subject to the following re-stocking fees.

Last Month’s rent held as security deposit will be applied as a credit.

No restocking fee after 3 years of Rent to Own agreement has passed. Monthly fees continue and are The Merchant's responsibility until inspection of returned equipment and release obtained from DCATM.

Buy-Out from Rent to Own Program

The merchant can buy out the equipment and move to a monthly DataPlan only PAP program at any time. The MSRP is $349.99 so the buy-out price is the MSRP + Applicable taxes multiplied by the percentage of the term of the agreement remaining. i.e. after 30 months, 50% of term remains so buy-out is $174.99 + taxes.

Warranty: The DataMax unit comes with a 2 year Manufacturer’s warranty. Rent to Own units are covered under warranty for the term of the agreement provided the rental Agreement is in good standing excluding loss and physical damage. DCATM is not liable for the loss of Transactions, revenue or any liability. DCATM’s liability is limited to replacement of a defective unit.

 Term: The term of this Rent to Own agreement is 60 months starting from the date as signed on page 1 of the Rent to Own agreement.

 Ownership of equipment:

The Datamax HSUPA/HSDPA/GSM/EDGE Quad band Adapter with Modem/Ethernet Input (MEH-24) remains the property of DCATM until the end of the Term or payment in full.
